Job Description: Infrastructure Private Equity Associate

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and resultsdriven Infrastructure Private Equity Associate to join our investment team. This role offers the opportunity to work on highimpact investments across the infrastructure sector including renewable energy transportation utilities and digital infrastructure. As an Associate you will be a key player in sourcing evaluating executing and managing investments working closely with senior professionals and contributing to the growth and success of our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities: Investment Sourcing and Evaluation:

• Identify and evaluate investment opportunities within the infrastructure sector by conducting market research and analysis.
• Build and refine complex financial models including cash flow projections sensitivity analyses and valuation metrics (DCF IRR).
• Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders including investment committees.

Transaction Execution:

• Lead key components of the deal process including due diligence transaction structuring and closing coordination.
• Collaborate with thirdparty advisors (legal technical financial) to validate assumptions and mitigate risks.
• Negotiate transaction terms financing structures and joint venture agreements with counterparties and partners.

Portfolio Management:

• Monitor and analyze the operational and financial performance of portfolio investments.
• Collaborate with portfolio company management teams to implement business plans optimize operations and drive value creation.
• Support refinancing recapitalization and exit strategies including preparing materials for potential buyers or investors.

Strategic Development and Leadership:

• Contribute to the development of sectorspecific investment theses and longterm strategic initiatives.
• Stay informed on trends regulations and innovations in the infrastructure space to inform investment strategies.
• Mentor and support junior team members providing guidance on analysis modeling and professional development.

Qualifications: Educational Background:

• Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Engineering Business Administration or a related field (required).
• Advanced degree (MBA Masters in Finance/Infrastructure or CFA designation) is preferred but not required.

Professional Experience:

• 3 5 years of experience in private equity investment banking project finance or infrastructurerelated roles.
• Demonstrated experience in transaction execution financial modeling and portfolio management within the infrastructure sector.

Skills and Competencies:

• Advanced financial modeling and valuation expertise with strong proficiency in Excel.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure investment principles including projectbased finance and capital structures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create and present highquality investment materials.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with attention to detail and a focus on datadriven decisionmaking.
• Proficiency in tools such as PowerPoint and relevant financial databases (e.g. Preqin PitchBook Bloomberg).
