Position: Mortgage Loan Originator
Location: Remote (AZ, CA, FL, ID, OR, TX, WA)
About the Role:
As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you will play a vital role in assisting clients through one of the most significant financial decisions of their lives—purchasing a home. You will guide clients through the mortgage process, from the initial consultation to loan closing, while embodying our core values of transparency, effective communication, and exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough consultations to understand clients' financial goals and needs.
- Educate clients about various mortgage products, helping them select the best options for their circumstances.
- Collect and analyze financial information to assess eligibility and affordability.
- Guide clients through the mortgage application process, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
- Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and other internal teams to expedite loan approvals and closings.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on the status of their loan applications and promptly addressing any concerns or questions.
- Uphold compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator.
- In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- NMLS licensure.
