Work Mode: Hybrid, 3 days required onsite. No remote employees.

 

About the Role:

 

The Senior Project Manager will serve as the "Chief of Staff" to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), acting as a strategic partner and operational leader. This role will oversee key initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful execution of clinical and medical training activities. The Senior Project Manager will be the CMO's right-hand person, managing the CMO’s office and supporting key projects across the organization.

 

Your Responsibilities:

 

  • Strategic Leadership: Assist the CMO in prioritizing key initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Gather input from key stakeholders to help define metrics, build dashboards, and track the progress of key objectives.
  • Communication & Reporting: Provide regular status updates to leadership teams, ensuring alignment on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand functional strategies, ensuring seamless integration across teams.
  • O perational Excellence: Drive efficient operations, ensuring workflows are streamlined and timelines are adhered to.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess organizational performance and project success.
  • Liaison Role: Facilitate communication between the CMO and other departments, such as R&D, regulatory affairs, marketing, and sales.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams on specific projects, fostering alignment and collaboration across departments.
  • Team Support: Act as a liaison between the clinical team and other stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns as they arise.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 8+ years of work experience in project management and cross-functional team leadership role, ideally in a clinical or medical setting.
  • Strong executive presence, comfortable communicating with and presenting to all levels of leadership and able to tailor communications to the audience.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of managing complex projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with senior leadership, teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to mentor and coach team members to achieve project goals.
